Yes I am PUBLICLY writing that I must get back in shape! Since I’ve been working on my website I’ve just been living on (very thickly buttered) toast and Chinese take out so I’m kinda feeling all wobbly and yuck. I haven’t actually put on any weight since Julyish and all my measurements are the same (ie waist, hips thighs etc) but I just feel that the very little muscle I did have has now given up and turned to fat lol, and my legs and bum feel sort of lumpy which isn’t nice at all. Also, over the past two years I seemed to have “expanded” a lot lol!
So, it’s not really a diet, I just need to get back to my old ways of playing badminton twice a week, swimming twice a week, walking 15000 steps a day and snacking on blueberries instead of galaxy! And also start actually making my own meals again – today I’m going to have beef, carrots and broccoli and I had bran for breakfast so I’m on the right track. I don’t want to be thin exactly, I have a naturally curvy shape so even if I got down to like 4stone, then 3.5stone of it would still be my big bum lol, but I don’t feel healthy the way I am now. And Id like my big thighs to be at least 1% toned, even that would do me! I’m aiming to lose about 2 stone, but don’t worry everyone, I’ll still being keeping all my delicious curves!!
Also, I have my eye on this little beauty – I just love the “Racing Game Allows You To Compete Against An On Screen Cyclist At Your Own Fitness Level” function
Doesn’t that sound so fun!
And I have a £150 amazon voucher so if it just sort of gets thrown to one side after the novelty has worn off then it’s not like it was my money in the first place
Ok so as of Friday 6th Oct, Rachy WILL start to live a healthier, more active life again. And my targets are as follows:
Waist: lose 4 inches
Hips: lose 5 inches
Top of thighs: lose 4 inches each
Top of arms: lose 2.5 inches each
Weight: lose 2 stone
I know this won’t be a quick process, but once I put my energy into something I stick with and persevere until I reach my goals. I’ve checked all my measurements from 2 years ago (yes, call me a geek now!) and these are definitely realistic, healthy goals. So my new lifestyle begins now! I’ll update this every Friday, and the thought of the whole world being able to access this will hopefully spur me on as I don’t want to publicly fail on my ass lol!
