More dirty panties for your pleasure!

Well yet again my dirty panty page was looking a little bare so over the past week or so while I’ve had my poorly leg I’ve been slowly cropping and chopping pics to update it. I’ve just added NINE brand new pairs to fill in the spaces, me no like empty spaces! So here are the thumbs, like my choices? Some things you should know:
*The purple lacey french knickers (ref PY5) are THREE sizes too small for me!! They are a size 8 so are VERY VERY VERY tight!

Cold burns…yes it does :(

Eugh, you know when you’re feeling sort of down in the dumps because of your own idiocy? Well that’s me today.

I hadn’t really been taking the docs advice too seriously (bad Rachy) and had still been wandering around town and doing my usual lots of steps but resting more on a night time and spending my nights lying with my leg out instead of all cramped up at my laptop. I thought this would be enough but my knee was really bad yesterday so I decided the time had come to actually rest properly. So I got into my ‘house clothes’ (aka my ‘if I ever had to wear this outside I would die of embarassement’ get up) and dutifully bandaged my ice pack to my knee and left it there til it melted. It was SO painful cos it was so cold but it did take the swelling down a lot which is good. I repeated this all last night, refreezing it each time it melted then putting it on again. I put it on for the last time at about 1am and lay watching Scrubs until it melted. It was again very sore but I thought it was from the cold again. I took it off and saw two disgusting red swollen patches on my knee, one on each side. I thought it was just from the cold so I touched one to see if it hurt and my god it did, so damn painful. I started to panic because I had no idea what these awful massive red swollen lumps were, they were stinging more and more. Even the air touching my skin was making it sting. I had no idea what to do with it being nearly 2am but the skin was too tender to even have my sheets brush against it so I wrapped my knee in bandage and went to bed. I couldn’t sleep because of the sprain twinges and now my tender skin so I was lying awake just sort of letting my mind wander.

It was then I remember the infamous scene from the movie ‘Dumb and Dumber’, when Harry (Jeff Daniels) gets his tongue stuck to the icey pole of the ski ramp thingy and it rips all the skin off his tongue…yup, that’s exactly what I’ve done to my freaking knee *sigh*

When I got up this morning it wasn’t as red but it’s still a massive lump either side of my knee, it’s absolute agony. The ‘burns’ are actually much more painful than the sprain as they are so delicate and raw and always sore, at least with my sprain it was ok when I lay with my leg stretched out. I read up on it on Wikipedia, apparently they’re known as ‘cold burns‘ (ok it seems like most of you knew that, but I didn’t lol) and they’re basically the same as a regular burn. My arms and hands have a few scars from burns from the oven, hob and iron (and one particularly nasty encounter with a soldering iron) but these are the worst burns I’ve ever had, and with being on either side of my knee they keep getting brushed with things which gives me so much pain. I had an awful nights sleep last night because I sleep on my side but couldn’t lie on either side because theres a burn on each side. *sigh again*

I cannot believe I’ve done something so bloody stupid lol What I can’t understand though is the first few times I did it my skin was absolutely fine! The first time I did it the ice pack had been in the freezer for weeks, it was a totally solid block, yet when I actually got the burns it was after it had only been back in the freezer for a few hours and wasn’t even totally solid yet. *sighs yet again*

I’m sorta bummed out tonight, I’m in so much pain than before and all because I was trying to help myself. What a bloody idiot!

Teeny tiny weeny thong!

It hit me earlier today as I was wandering (limping) around the town all on my own that I haven’t shared many pics with you all recently. Yup, I truly deserve a spanking *wiggles bum*! So I picked out this pic to wave in front of your little eyes. It was taken last Friday – we took pics of me wearing about 30 different pairs of panties, all of which will be added to my site at some point (ie when I can be bothered to edit them) so in the next few weeks this dinky little thong will be available for you to get your pervy little hands on!

Hop along Rachy!

Hey ho my little chickadee’s, how’s it hanging?

Just a quickie for ya as I have a lot of mails to send in a very short space of time. I had to take myself off to the docs today *does a sad face…and I mean really sad….so sad that I expect to see a tear in your eye….there ya go!* because two weeks back I bashed my knee really awkwardly. It probably would have been ok by now but I have funky knees, I was born with part of my knee cartilidge (the squashy part that cushions the knee joint) slightly out of place. It basically means that after wear and tear (ie too much activity or too much sitting/ standing with my knees bent) they get very sore. There’s an op to fix it but my parents were told when I was very small that unless my knee was giving me a LOT of pain then they wouldn’t advise the op, the benefits of it just don’t outweigh the risks unfortunately. So anyhoo I put up with it, it’s not ideal and sometimes it gets very bad but I feel fortunate it’s not something worse and I am hugely grateful that my health is relatively good. Umm…where was I?! Oh yeh, bashed my knee sort of inwards toward the other knee and I’ve been getting painful twinges in it everytime I move my knee so finally time to see the doc. She was really lovely and gave my legs a good feel up (to see what was wrong with my knee, not just because she couldn’t resist!) and apparently I have *cue dramatic music* a grade 2 sprain aka a torn ligament. It’s really nothing serious, will just give me a bit of pain for a while but then it’ll be good as new! The treatment is RICE! Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation. And as I sit at my laptop with my legs crossed it means I’ll have to spend less time with it and more time looking like a goober with one leg raised trying to position my knee at a higher level than my heart…and stop sniggering at the thought of that ok! She thinks it’s that anyway, if it’s still the same in 2-4 weeks from now then I must go back and have some sort of scan to see what the bother is as a torn ligament shouldn’t take that long to heal. So here’s hoping it’s just that!

Anyhoo, taking a little sec to blow some huge kisses to my panty selling girlfriends…most of whom I owe mails to actually *puts on the same guilt face I wore after scoffing the custard creams*. Poppy I miss you! Haven’t spoken to you in a few days and it feels like an eternity! My nights just aren’t the same without our gossiping and giggling! Jess the delicious…what can I say except I love you to bits!! I cannot believe it, I’m so ashamed! Well…not really, I loved every calorie laden second of it, but now my tummy is making some noises…I think it’s in distress!

Oh and I also must dedicate some time here to my disgusting, round, ugly enemy. You will NEVER get the better of me so stop looking so smug. I have a hatred for you that I do not feel for any other creature on this earth, you are the bain of my life and I will never forgive you for the suffering you have caused me….WHY THE BLOODY HELL ARE APPLES JUST SO BLOODY AWFUL?! And YES it is possible for an apple to look smug, if you had been terrorised throughout life by them then you’d know that ok! I just find it impossible to eat apples, everytime I try I subsequently FAIL, bloody idiot apples.

Grrr!

So my art class last night?

Great, fantastic, absolutely amazing….BOLLOCKS!! I got there 10mins early like I was told to and the shutters were all still down so I (along with my significant other) waited outside, in the snow I must add. We waited in the freezing cold for 15minutes and NOTHING!! Not even any people for the class turned up so I’m guessing it wasn’t on but they could have put a sign on the shutter or something so I could have gone straight back home! Bloody hell!!

*silently screams*

I emailed the people but haven’t getten a reply yet. *sigh* Better luck next week eh?!

Smarty Arty Pants Rachy

Howdily ho neighbourinos! Distinct lack of the Rachy vibe around the place at the moment isn’t there. Thankyou all for your emails recently, but worry not friends, I am indeed fine and dandy I have been very busy at the moment, I have finally decided which degree I want to do – woo hoo!!! It’s a foundation degree, leading on to a BA (hons) in media design and publishing. In short it covers web design, page layout, typography, general graphic design and a little photography – ie bloody all of my strong points except fashion and textile design, woo hoo! I don’t think I could find a course to cover that many of my (amazing array of) talents if I tried. So anyhoo I’ve been working a lot on my design portfolio, but I think I have quite a bit of time to spend on it as the course doesn’t start til September 2008! Yep missed the deadline for 2007 – i could probably get a last minute interview, but I don’t have a portfolio yet so that’d be pretty pointless. Not many of you have actually seen my graphical talents outside of my dinky little website and various bits and pieces that I’ve put together for people so here ya go, some random tat (aka grade A material, biyatches!) from my a-levels last year:

Ok also I am starting a sketching and drawing class very soon (tomorrow night actually, eep!) so that will take up a bit of my time in the future. Drawing isn’t something I’m great at and I fancied a challenge so why not! I’m going on my own and I’m scared, the course has been running for a while now and I turn up on my own not being able to draw for shit?! Uh oh! *does a funny panicky dance* Just call me Dr Panickypill!

So there ya go, I’m plodding along nicely as usual, I’m just setting myself more challenges for the time being. I love to learn new things, hence my new site design. Learning XHTML and CSS so quickly was just to push myself and work myself hard so now I have it nailed, I’m bored of it! I get like that a lot, I like to have goals and challenges, something to work for.

Also since I’ve been working more, I’ve been giving myself more lazing around time as my health has been sorta neglected recently. I’m a little behind on my mails as always but I know you all understand that, and those of you that don’t aren’t worth bothering with Part of the Rachy charm!
