Quick post as I’m off out in a bit. Thank you to everyone for your concern over my wellbeing at this new job…and sadly, you were all right. My leg hasn’t been right since I did the trial shift on Saturday and this morning the pain was unbearable so unfortunately I phoned up the manager and said I wouldn’t be available for the job after all, even though I didn’t actually have a job with them as yet. I explained it all to her and she was really understanding, but you know what the bloody pisser is?!
SHE WAS GOING TO GIVE ME THE BLOODY JOB!!!
AARRGH!! After applying for what feels like hundreds of jobs in recent weeks I FINALLY find one that I like, am suited to AND THEY LOVED ME yet I can’t bloody do it. She said that once my leg is better, if I still want the job just to come in and have a chat and they’ll find a place for me which is nice 
More positive news however, within 30 minutes of phoning to pull out of the shoe job, I got a phone call from a photography/digital enhancement studio shop thingy offering me an interview tomorrow! Woo hoo! Funny how things work out isn’t it! So it’s a shame I can’t go for the shoe shop one just yet but I have high hopes for the photography one And hopefully it won’t entail racing up and down three flights of stairs 20 times an hour lol!
When one door closes and all that eh

Rachy, I did not see your last blog till just now. I am so sorry to hear about your continuing knee problem and that it adversely affected your proposed shoe shop job. However, I am so glad to hear about the photography/digital enhancement thingy opportunity is successful. I would enjoy such a job myself. You know what I am like with Photoshop.
I expect you have tried everything for your knee. But what about one of those knee (elastic) bandages? It may help but wouldn’t look too good with your miniskirts. You can also get heated ones that stay hot all day but I believe they cant be reused as it is a chemical reaction that causes the heat.
Anyway enough of my ramblings. Just loved that pic on your last blog

I think it’s for the best that you’ve said you can’t take the job in the shoe shop. I don’t think your knee would have stood it for very long and would probably have made it even worse than it is already.

I think you made the right decision about the shoe shop job Rachy. It really wasn’t worth taking the chance of damaging your knee even more
