So did you all have a fab Valentines Day? I did! Spent a few days at a hotel with my better half and did lots of fun things. We went bowling, ice skating, played mini golf and spent too much in the arcades! Woo hoo, super fun times!
I’m stuck in the house this weekend, having been ordered to ‘rest’ by numerous family members. I don’t think I ever told you about the most recent developments with my knee did I? Well it was practically a year ago now that I buggared it up and was struggling to walk due to have about a bzillion things wrong with the damn joint. It started to get a lot better after I started wearing MBT’s, but in the past few months I’ve been getting pains deep in my hip joints and my knee has been considerably worse than it has been in a long time. Basically, the reason my knee won’t heal is down to my hips. My pelvis isn’t correctly formed (it has small bones missing) so there’s a lot of pressure on my hip joints and everything below it – ie my blasted knee. The symptoms I get from my joint problems are now very similar to arthritis which isn’t good as I’m only 21. With my hip not functioning properly my knee cannot repair itself (the main problem with it is I don’t have enough cartilidge and the muscles that attach the kneecap to the knee are weakened) so it’s sort of a bollocks situation all round! Whether it does anything or not I take Glucosamine and a cocktail of other stuff to try and help and I also do special exercises, but managing it is all I can do, there’s nothing that can be done to correct the hip joints.
Bah! Well at least I get waited on when I’m at home and looked after at work (I have a special footrest and don’t wear shoes most of the day lol!). Though very painful, it’s not life threatening and can be managed if you live healthily and that’s good enough for me. Speaking of health, I’ve taken up a new exercise! I have a Funkey Hula Hoop! I got it for Christmas and it’s sooooo fun! I have a massive bruise at the moment from the little wheels though lol! In fact, the strategic hand positioning in this pic below is to cover the ugly buggar (the ugly buggar being the BRUISE, not me so don’t even think it 
)

Well I know I do anyway, can’t seem to wear anything else. I got a few other new tops at the same time, and another three of them are black and white. Think I’m going through a black and white phase! I go through phases a lot, I put it down to me being a Virgo. Every few months or so I pick up on something and become obsessed with it, then it just sorta fizzles out. My last phase was…*thinks* Heroclix! Then before that it was healthy eating, that was a good one!
He had a sort of follow up operation (just to kind of ‘tidy up’ everything) the other day which unfortunately didn’t go as planned so he’s still getting a lot of pain, but he just seemed brighter, much more positive. Yay, I love him so much.
